Three years ago today, in the Marriott Center, listening to President Hinckley speak, I met my other half. Yes, the same other half who sometimes makes me so mad I could die on the spot. But he is still my man and I still love him just as much as I did when I fell madly in love three years ago. He is brilliant and funny, he is charming and handsome, he is the best daddy to our little one. If I asked him to, he would build us a house from the ground up. He fixes all our car problems. He keeps us safe --safe from bad guys (seriously, I am really afraid of bad guys and Danny is afraid of nothing. In fact, I wouldn't wanna meet him in a dark alley if I were a villain. No way.). He works very hard to help take care of this family. He is about as tough as they come, there is no battle he can't handle. He's also a squishy, mushy softy some days and I am delighted to know he needs me just as much as I need him :)
Danny, thanks for taking a chance on me, that fateful Fall day. I love you so.
Us in the beginning... this is the week after we met. We went through this phase where people kept telling us how much we looked like brother and sister... what do you think?

hmm... Well now you're brunette so that doesn't matter, right? Who is the person between your heads?
ReplyDeleteI just have to tell you how much I love your blog posts. I love reading your thoughts about motherhood and wife-hood (that's a word now) and how much joy it brings you. You're such a great example to me! I want to be just like you when I grow up. ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute photo - love you both :)
